This product is recommended for use in healthy pregnant gilts and sows to aid in the prevention of neonatal pig diarrhea caused by E. coli expressing pili types K88, K99, 987P and Type 1.

Administration And Dosage

Shake well before use and administer using normal aseptic techniques.

First Farrowing - Two Doses Are Necessary For Vaccination. first Dose

Inject 2 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly into healthy pregnant swine 6-7 weeks prior to farrowing.

Second Dose

Inject 2 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly 3-4 weeks following first dose. Subsequent Farrowings - A single 2 mL dose should be administered 2-3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing.

Scourmune Caution

Store at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. If allergic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine.

Preservatives

Gentamicin, amphotericin B and thimerosal.
