Salmo Shield Live Indications

For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of salmonellosis caused by Salmonella choleraesuis.

Directions

Aseptically rehydrate with liquid component supplied. Shake well before using. Administer 1 mL orally or intranasally (1/2 mL into each nostril) at one day of age or older. Administer intramuscularly at 3 weeks of age or older.

Precautions

Store out of direct sunlight at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). DO NOT FREEZE. Needles and syringes should not be sterilized with chemicals. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter. Do not use this vaccine in conjunction with antibiotics effective against Salmonella choleraesuis. Burn this container and any unused contents. Anaphylactic reactions may occur. Symptomatic treatment: Epinephrine.
