FIRST AID

If Swallowed:

● Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice, or transport the patient to the nearest hospital.

● Do not give any liquid to the patient.

● Do not administer anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

● Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor.

If Inhaled:

● Move person to fresh air.

● If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

If on Skin or on Clothing:

● Take off contaminated clothing.

● Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

If in Eyes:

● Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.

● Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye.

● Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Contains petroleum distillates. Vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia.

Precautionary Statements

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS

Prozap Final-Fly-T Horse Spray and Wipe-on Insecticide Caution

Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers must wear:

● Long-sleeved shirt and long pants

● Shoes plus socks

● Chemical-resistant gloves (barrier laminate, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, or Viton).

User Safety Requirements

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product’s concentrate. Do not reuse them.

User Safety Recommendations.

Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

Users should remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing them. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans, or other waters unless in accordance with the requirements of a national Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance, contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA.

Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements.

This product is highly toxic to bees and other pollinating insects exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees or other pollinating insects are foraging the treatment area.

PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL HAZARDS

Do not use, pour, spill, or store near heat or open flame.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

READ THE LABEL: Read the entire label and follow all use directions, use restrictions, and precautions.

USE RESTRICTIONS

This product may only be used on horses and ponies.

Spray only in a well-ventilated area.

Except when treating horses and ponies, do not enter or allow others to enter the treated area until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, and the area has been thoroughly ventilated.

Except when applying to horses and ponies, do no apply this product in a way that will contact workers or others persons, either directly or through drift.

Except when applying to horses and ponies, only protected handlers may be in the area during application.

Not for use on horses or foals intended for slaughter.

Not for use in farm structures or buildings housing food-producing animals or poultry, or in milk rooms.

Do not allow product to contact animal’s eyes, nose, mouth, or any sores during application.

Do not use on foals under 12 weeks old.

Do not make outdoor applications in the rain.

Remove or cover exposed food/feed and water before spraying. Do not apply to dairy animals.

This product has been especially developed for use on horses. It provides a protective hair coating against flies, while imparting a high sheen to the hair when brushed out. One to 2 oz. per head per day gives adequate protection. Apply by either a soft cloth or fine mist spray.

For Use as a Wipe-On: First brush animal to remove excess dirt and dust. Moisten (but do not wet to the point of dripping) a soft cloth and rub this product over the animal’s hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against the hair growth. Give special attention to the legs, shoulders, shanks, neck, and facial areas where flies are most often seen.

Only a light application of this product is required. Avoid using an excessive amount on your horses. Do not wet skin.

After application, brush out thoroughly to bring out bright sheen on the coat. Repeat daily as required.

For Use as a Spray: This product may be applied as a fine mist spray to stable area and over and around stabled horses for fast paralysis and kill of flies. Do not wet horse’s skin or exceed 2 oz. per application.

Storage And Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from children, preferably in a secure storage area.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticides that cannot be used according to label instructions must be disposed of according to applicable Federal, state, and local procedures.

Container Handling: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.

If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling, if available.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
