Active Ingredient(s)

PETROMALT^® is an emulsion of liquid petrolatum (44%), malt extract, glycerine, acacia and thiamine HCl - 1 mg per ounce.

Petromalt Indications

An intestinal lubricant and laxative for kittens and puppies.

Petromalt Dosage And Administration

Give a one-inch ribbon of PETROMALT^® once a day until symptoms disappear. Thereafter, give a one-inch ribbon once or twice a week for prevention.

For kittens and pups over four (4) weeks of age, give a half-inch ribbon once or twice a week.

PETROMALT^® should be given between meals, either by placing it on the animals nose or on its front paws where it can be licked off.

PETROMALT^® should not be mixed with food or given close to mealtime.

Note: A veterinarian may give specific directions. Follow the professional advice closely.

Store at room temperature.
