Warnings

Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food during the treatment and for at least 5 days after the last treatment with this drug. Eggs obtained from birds treated with this drug, during the treatment and within 5 days after the latest treatment, must not be used for food. Do not administer to dairy cattle.

Description

A water soluble powder of essential vitamins medicated with Penicillin G Potassium and Streptomycin Sulfate for chickens, turkeys, swine, and calves. 1 teaspoon equals 4 g.

Active Ingredients: Each 100 G Contains

Penicillin G Potassium 4,965,000 IU, Streptomycin Sulfate 15,000 mg, Vitamin A 750,000 IU, Vitamin D3 250,000 IU, Vitamin E 750 IU, Vitamin B12 245 mcg, Riboflavin 333 mg, Thiamine Hydrochloride 660 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 336 mg, Vitamin K3 333 mg, Niacinamide 2,500 mg, Calcium d-Pantothenate 750 mg.

Penstreptomycin Plus Indications

As an aid in starting chicks and poults by stimulating feed intake and growth and helps overcome the effects of stress. To stimulate feed intake and maintain weight gains when birds are exposed to attacks of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) and infectious sinusitis or transmissible enteritis in turkeys. As an aid in the treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours) in swine and calves.

Dosage & Administration

Starting Chicks & Poults

Dissolve 345 g (1 pouch) in 620 L of drinking water and administer for the first 4 days.

Crd, Transmissible Enteritis & Infectious Sinusitis

Dissolve 345 g (1 pouch) in 620 L of drinking water and give for 4 or 5 days, at the first sign of an outbreak.

Swine

Dissolve 345 g (1 pouch) in 290 L of drinking water or 4 g per 3.5 L and administer for 4 to 5 days.

Calves

Administer 4 g of powder per 45 kg of body weight. Mix with drinking water or milk and give every 12 hours for 2 to 3 days.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dry, cool place at room temperature 15-25°C. Keep packet tightly closed when not in use.

Penstreptomycin Plus Caution

Give no other drinking water during treatment. If no improvement is noted after 5 days, consult a veterinarian. Prepare fresh solutions daily.
