Parapac
This treatment applies to the following species:Haemophilus Parasuis Bacterin
Contains chemically-inactivated cultures of Haemophilus parasuis.
For use in healthy swine 9-10 days of age or older as an aid in the prevention of Glasser’s disease caused by Haemophilus parasuis.
Administration And Dosage
Shake well. Using aseptic technique, inject sows/gilts with 1 mL subcutaneously 6 to 7 weeks and 2 to 3 weeks prior to first farrowing, and 2 to 3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing. Inject piglets with 1 mL subcutaneously at 9-10 days of age and booster 2-4 weeks later.Parapac Caution
For veterinary use only. Store at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. If allergic response occurs, administer epinephrine.Preservatives
