Outlast Fly and Mosquito Insecticide/Repellent Caution

OUTLAST™ Insecticide/Repellent is ready to use. The unique formulation stays active and keeps working even when the horse sweats and after rainfall. Provides repellency and long lasting protection from: Horseflies, Houseflies, Stableflies, Faceflies, Hornflies, Deerflies, Gnats, Mosquitos (culex spp.) that may transmit West Nile Virus.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Not for use on horses intended for human consumption.

Shake well before using. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food.

To protect horses and ponies from Horse Flies, House Flies, Stable Flies, Face Flies, Horn Flies, Deer Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes (culex spp): Thoroughly brush the horse’s coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until the coat is completely dry before applying this product.

OUTLAST™ Insecticide/Repellent is a sweat and weather resistant formula and contains a special conditioner that binds to the hair shaft so it keeps working even when the horse sweats and after rainfall.

Spray or Wipe Application: Application should be liberal for best results. For horse’s face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Avoid getting spray into horse’s eyes, nose or mouth. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse’s entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to insure adequate coverage.

Reapply every 14 days for fly control under normal conditions for initial applications. Reapply every 5 to 7 days for mosquito repellency. Also, reapply each time animal is washed thoroughly, particularly if with shampoo or soap.

Storage And Disposal

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place.

DISPOSAL: If empty: Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency or call 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to fish. Do not apply to any body of water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwaters.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Avoid contamination of food. Wash hands with soap and water after use.

FIRST AID

IF SWALLOWED: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
