Nolvasan Udder Wash Concentrate Caution
Concentrate may be irritating to eyes or mucous membranes. May be harmful if swallowed. Avoid contamination of feed or feedstuffs. If in contact, flush thoroughly with water. Rinse empty container with water and discard.Warning
Do not use this solution undiluted. Wash udder and teats only with properly diluted udder wash and then wipe off udder and teats with clean towel as directed. Do not use this solution for washing of milking equipment.Store at controlled room temperature 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F). Avoid freezing or exposure to excessive heat.
Directions
To prepare the final udder wash product add 1 fluid ounce (2 tablespoonfuls) of Nolvasan Udder Wash Concentrate to four (4) gallons of clean, potable water. Prepare fresh wash for each milking. To wash the udder and teats use a separate clean paper towel for each cow; soak the paper towel in the prepared udder wash; and thoroughly wash the entire udder and teats of the cow within 2 minutes of applying the milk machine. Discard the paper towel after use. When washing be careful to remove all dirt and debris from the surface of the udder. (If udder or teats are excessively dirty, a second paper towel should be soaked and the udder/teats washed the second time).
After the udder/teats are washed with the udder wash another paper towel should be used to thoroughly wipe dry the surface of the udder and teats before the milk machine cups are placed on the cow.
Washing of udder/teats should be conducted before each milking. It is also advised to use the Nolvasan® Teat Dip to dip all teats after milking. This will aid in control of bacteria that cause bovine mastitis.
