Swine, Cattle, Sheep And Horses

For the prevention and treatment of scours (bacterial enteritis).

Chickens And Turkeys

For the prevention and treatment of bacterial enteritis, enteritis associated with CRD and other neomycin sensitive infections in chickens and turkeys. For prevention and treatment of Bluecomb or Transmissible enteritis in turkeys.

Neomix Soluble Powder Dosage And Administration

TREATMENT - Give NEOMIX soluble powder for 3 to 5 days (except as noted below) as soon as symptoms are observed. If no improvement is seen after 5 days of treatment, the diagnosis should be redetermined.

PREVENTION - NEOMIX soluble powder should be given as per the dosage levels prescribed below, and should be administered for no longer than five days.

Swine

Herd Treatment: Add 1 tablespoon of NEOMIX soluble powder to 43 litres of drinking water and administer as the sole source of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.

For Automatic medicators: For machines set to deliver 7.8 mL of premix solution per litre of drinking water (1 oz per 1 U.S. gallon), prepare premix solution by adding 3 tablespoons NEOMIX soluble powder to 1 litre of water.

Cattle, Sheep And Horses

Herd Treatment: Add NEOMIX soluble powder to the volume of drinking water consumed by the affected animals in a 24-hour period at the rate of 1 tablespoon per 435 kg of animal body weight daily.

Warning

Treated animals must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 30 days - Cattle; 14 days - Sheep; 14 days - Swine; 14 days - Laying Hens; 14 days - Turkeys; 7 days - Broiler Chickens after the latest treatment with this drug. This product must not be used in lactating dairy cattle nor administered to horses that are to be slaughtered for use in food.

Neomix Soluble Powder Is Available In Packages Of 500 G And 25 Kg Drums. Each Gram Of neomix Soluble Powder Contains As Active Ingredient: 715 Mg Of Neomycin Sulfate (equivalent To 500 Mg Neomycin Base).
