This treatment applies to the following species:Type A Medicated Feed
For Use In The Manufacture Of Medicated Animal Feeds
Product Description
Pennfield®’s Neo-Oxy 50/50® is a combination of two proven broad spectrum antibiotics - Neomycin and Oxytetracycline. Neomycin is a proven antibiotic against bacterial enteritis, concentrating its anti-infective action in the gastrointestinal tract. Neomycin is highly effective against certain gram-negative bacteria, including E. Coli and Salmonella. It is also effective against certain gram-positive bacteria. The other antibiotic, Oxytetracycline, is highly effective in controlling complex diseases, such as CRD, in chickens and shipping fever in cattle. Oxytetracycline combats disease-producing organisms in both the blood and gastrointestinal tract and is highly effective against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. Neo-Oxy 50/50® provides a winning combination of broad spectrum antibiotics for approved livestock species when used according to label directions.
Product Advantages
- Broad spectrum antibiotic activity. Oxytetracycline (partially absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract into the blood stream) along with Neomycin (which remains essentially in the gastrointestinal tract) make for an ideal combination.
