Nasalgen IP Indications

For the vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and parainfluenza3 virus.

Administration And Dosage

For Intranasal Use Only. For use in healthy cattle 6 months of age or older. Slowly transfer entire contents of diluent vial to vaccine vial, using aseptic technique and sterile syringes and needles. The 2 mL dose may be administered into one nostril or 1 mL into each nostril. Use a separate disposable cannula for each animal. Calves vaccinated under 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months of age or weaning.

Nasalgen IP Caution

Store at 2°-7°C (35°-45°F). Use entire contents when first opened. Do not use chemical disinfectants to sterilize syringes, needles or cannulas. Burn container and all unused contents. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Contains gentamicin as a preservative. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur following use.

Antidote

Epinephrine.

Do Not Vaccinate Cattle Parenterally.

This level of performance may be affected by conditions of use such as stress, weather, nutrition, disease, parasitism, other treatments, individual idiosyncrasies or impaired immunological competency. These factors should be considered by the user when evaluating product performance or freedom from reactions.
