Monarch Protek Teat Dip

Active Ingredient(s)

Chlorhexidine acetate 0.5% with polyvinylpyrridone and glycerin 3.0% in an aqueous base.

Indications

The product is formulated to be used full strength as a post-milking teat dip to aid in the prevention of the spread of mastitis causing organisms.

Dosage And Administration

Immediately after each cow is milked, dip the teat in undiluted MONARCH ® PROTEK ® Teat Dip. Replace the solution if it becomes visibly dirty. When the cow is being dried off, the teats should be dipped once a day for several days after the last milking. With freshening cows, begin dipping teats twice a day for about 10 days before calving. Using an approved udder wash and a single service clean towel, thoroughly wash udder and teats of treated cows before milking to avoid the contamination of milk.

Eye irritant, may be harmful if swallowed.

Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of eye contact flush eyes immediately with water.

Contact a physician. If swallowed, drink milk or water and get medical attention.
