Chlorhexidine acetate 0.5% with polyvinylpyrridone and glycerin 3.0% in an aqueous base.

Indications

The product is formulated to be used full strength as a post-milking teat dip to aid in the prevention of the spread of mastitis causing organisms.

Dosage And Administration

Immediately after each cow is milked, dip the teat in undiluted MONARCH ^® PROTEK ^® Teat Dip. Replace the solution if it becomes visibly dirty. When the cow is being dried off, the teats should be dipped once a day for several days after the last milking. With freshening cows, begin dipping teats twice a day for about 10 days before calving. Using an approved udder wash and a single service clean towel, thoroughly wash udder and teats of treated cows before milking to avoid the contamination of milk.
