Nutritional Supplement for use in cats only. Tomlyn^® Milk Replacer is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for gestation/lactation and growth of kittens from newborn to 6 weeks of age. Whenever possible, kittens should receive their mother’s milk for the first two days. This mother’s colostrum milk provides extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.

Directions for Mixing: To make 8 fl. oz, add warm water halfway to fill line. Shake well. Then fill all the way to fill line with warm water and shake until all powder is dissolved. Refrigerate after mixing. Discard if not used within 24 hours after mixing. To mix less than 8 oz of formula, add 2 parts powder to 3 parts warm water and mix until all powder is dissolved.

Directions for Feeding: Reconstituted formula should be fed at body temperature. Use of a nurser bottle is recommended. Feed kittens at least 2 tablespoons (30 mL) per 4 ounces (113 g) of body weight daily. For the first 4 days of feeding, the daily amount should be divided into 6 to 8 equal feedings. Then gradually reduce the number of feedings to 4 equal parts per day. Kittens should be allowed to consume as much formula as they want during each feeding. Increase or decrease the amount fed based on the individual needs of each kitten.

Pregnant and Lactating Queens: Feed 2 teaspoons (4 g) per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) body weight daily until 2 weeks after queening.

Storage

Keep out of reach of children and animals. Not for human consumption. Moisture and high temperature will degrade Tomlyn^® Milk Replacer. Store sealed container at room temperature (15-30°C). May be stored indefinitely in the freezer. Do not mix more than will be consumed within 24 hours. Sold by weight not volume.
