Contains 10% glycerine, minimum pH 4.0, a-(p-nonylphenyl)- omega-hydroxypoly (oxyethylene) iodine complex, (provides 1.0% minimum titratable iodine). Equivalent to 10,000 parts per million titratable iodine.

For use as an aid in controlling the spread of bacteria that may cause mastitis.

Metz Iodine Teat Dip (1.0%) Dosage And Administration

Immediately after each cow is milked, dip the teats in undiluted METZ IODINE TEAT DIP. Ideally a fresh teat dip solution should be provided for each cow and in no case should the same cup of solution be used for more than three (3) or four (4) cows before discarding and providing a fresh solution. Just prior to the next milking thoroughly wash the treated udder and teats in potable water. Use a fresh towel for each cow and never dip used towels back into the solution. When a cow is being dried off, dip the teats for three (3) or four (4) days after the last milking. Do not use for cleaning and/or sanitizing milk equipment.
