BURSAL DISEASE-NEWCASTLE DISEASE-BRONCHITIS-REOVIRUS VACCINE

Standard and Variant, Mass.Type, Killed Virus

Reg. No. 2F 4/52 (B)

RECOMMENDATIONS: This vaccine is recommended for use in healthy breeder replacement chickens and breeder hens as an aid in the prevention of Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease (standard and variant types), infectious bronchitis (Mass. type), and avian reoviruses (standard and SS412 types). Breeder vaccination provides maternal antibody to progeny of breeder hens for the prevention of bursal disease caused by standard and variant types and tenosynovitis and malabsorption caused by reoviruses of the standard and SS412 types.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS: Vaccinate chickens 18 weeks of age or older with 0.5 ml (1/2 cc) per bird. The vaccine should only be subcutaneously administered in the mid to lower portion of the neck in a direction away from the head. Do not inject into muscle or vertebrae. Birds should be vaccinated (primed) with live infectious bursal disease vaccine, tenosynovitis vaccine and bronchitis vaccine of the Mass. type at least 4 weeks in advance of administration of the vaccine.

Warning

Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter. Due to the stress of handling or moving birds, vaccination of hens in lay may result in a drop in egg production. Contains gentamicin, amphotericin B and thimerosal as preservatives.

Maximune 8 Caution

Accidental injection of the vaccine into a human may cause a serious localized reaction. Seek expert medical attention immediately.

DO NOT FREEZE. STORE AT 2-7°C (35-45°F). WARM TO ROOM TEMPERATURE AND SHAKE BEFORE AND DURING USE. USE ENTIRE CONTENTS WHEN FIRST OPENED.
