Description

A sterile solution for use as an aid in diuresis and in the removal of extracellular fluids.

Each Ml Contains

Mannitol, 180 mg; Water for injection, q.s. Total osmolar concentration is 989 m0sm per liter.

Directions

For diuresis administer by intravenous infusion only.

Dosage

1.65-2.2g (9.2-12.2 mL) per kilogram of body weight.

Note

Solution may form crystals on chilling. Crystals may be dissolved with adequate warming and agitation.
