Mag-Cal Indications
For the treatment of milk fever and grass tetany in cattle and for the treatment of calcium and magnesium deficiencies and secondary ketosis in horses, sheep, swine, dogs and cats.DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Warm to body temperature before administration.
Cattle
250 to 500 mL intravenously, or one-half of the dosage intravenously and the remainder intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intraperitoneally. Divide intramuscular or subcutaneous dosage between several sites. Massage injected areas thoroughly.Horses
250 to 500 mL may be given intramuscularly by dividing dosage as above.Sheep & Swine
50 mL as above, or intraperitoneally, when indicated.Dogs & Cats
5 to 25 mL according to weight, by any route.Mag-Cal Caution
Administer slowly with sterile equipment. Do not retain partially used bottle. Contains no preservative.Storage
