Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Bacterin

For Veterinary Use Only

Recommended for use as an aid in the prevention of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection in swine. M+PAC bacterin contains the proprietary dual adjuvant Emunade^®.

Administration And Dosage

For vaccination of healthy swine. Use aseptic technique. Vaccinate pigs subcutaneously or intramuscularly at 7-10 days of age or older with a 1 mL dose followed by a second 1 mL dose 14 days later. For herds that use a single dose program, vaccinate pigs intramuscularly at 6 weeks of age or older with a single 2 mL dose. Intramuscular vaccination with a single 2 mL dose of M+PAC at 6 weeks of age has been demonstrated to provide at least 4 months duration of immunity.

M+Pac Caution

For veterinary use only. Store at 2°- 7°C (35°- 45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur after use.

Antidote

Epinephrine.

Preservatives

Ampicillin, gentamicin and thimerosal.

Warning

Extreme caution should be used when injecting oil emulsion vaccines to avoid injecting your own finger or hand. Accidental injection can cause serious local reaction. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
