Ingredients

Benzocaine, Camphor, Menthol, Thymol, Witch Hazel, Isopropyl Alcohol in a specially prepared base.

Warning

Do not apply any other type of external medicants to the same area where Liniment Gel with Benzocaine has been administered.

Not For Use On Food Producing Animals.

Storage

Store at controlled room temperature between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). Keep container tightly closed when not in use. It is important to keep the cap on tight, thereby avoiding evaporation.

Store In A Cool Dry Area. Do Not Store Near Heat.

Racetracks

When saliva and urine tests are to be conducted, do not administer before or after racing as horses may pick up components by licking and the ingredients may show up on testing.

For Horses In Training

Use before and after workouts, under bandages, either wet or dry.

In Shipping Horses

Apply on legs and use a cotton bandage. Liniment Gel with Benzocaine will not burn or blister under bandages.

Liniment Gel with Benzocaine Indications

A topical anesthetic, Liniment Gel with Benzocaine is to be used for temporary relief of minor muscle stiffness and soreness due to overexertion. Liniment Gel with Benzocaine may be used concentrated or diluted depending on the condition. It will not burn or blister.

Directions For Use

Be certain skin and hair are clean. It is advised that the area to be treated be washed first. Apply by rubbing deeply into hair in the first application, assuring contact with the skin. Following first application, apply a generous amount for the second application. Use as often as indicated.

Dilution

Use after strenuous exercise for any type of performance animal. Use as a therapeutic bodywash when a coolant is indicated. Mix 2 tablespoons of Liniment Gel with Benzocaine to a quart of warm water. Apply with a sponge, covering the horse's entire body. Use a brisk rubbing motion when applying. Guard against creating heat or irritation by over-rubbing.

Liniment Gel with Benzocaine Caution

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If the condition for which this preparation is used persists, or if a rash develops, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
