Lincomix 100 Injectable Solution Indications

For treatment of infectious arthritis in swine caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Erysipelothrix spp. and Mycoplasma spp., and for the treatment of swine dysentery.

Lincomix 100 Injectable Solution Dosage And Administration

Administer intramuscularly, 1 mL per 10 kg body weight once daily at first signs of infection and continue treatment for 3 to 7 days.

Lincomix 100 Injectable Solution Caution

Use only in swine. If no improvement is noted within 48 hours, consult a veterinarian. Loose stools following treatment have been rarely reported but the diarrhea is usually mild and transient. It is not recommended that Lincomix 100 Injectable Solution be used to treat or control outbreaks of swine dysentery. This is more readily achieved through the drinking water or feed since all animals in a barn must be treated. The use of Lincomix 100 Injectable Solution in extremely sick or moribund pigs suffering from swine dysentery is recommended until appetite and/or water consumption improvements allow adequate intake of oral medication.

Storage

Store at a temperature between 15° C and 25° C. Protect from freezing.
