Land O Lakes Mare's Match
This treatment applies to the following species:Foal Milk Replacer
24% protein from high quality milk
16% fat homogenized from a highly digestible fat source
Balanced nutrition including calcium, phosphorus and trace minerals for structural growth
Palatable nutrition for healthy, energetic foals
Mixing Directions
Use the plastic cup provided to measure the milk replacer powder. Each cup holds about 1/4 pound of powder. Always weigh powder for accurate feeding. Mix 1/4 pound of Land O'Lakes Mare's Match in 1 quart of 110-120° F water by slowly adding powder to water while stirring. Feeding temperature should be 90-100° F.

*Higher feeding rates are designed for larger foals where a maximum growth rate is desired. PONIES SHOULD BE FED AT 1/2 THE LOWEST FEEDING RATE FOR EACH AGE PERIOD.

General Recommendations
1. Insure foals receive colostrum from the mare as soon as possible after birth.
2. Completely sanitize the feeding equipment daily.
3. Buckets are an acceptable means of providing liquid Mare's Match® to foals.
4. If persistent scours occur, consult with your veterinarian.
5. Reseal bag between feedings to maintain freshness.
6. Keep foals in dry, draft-free environment.
7. Do not re-feed milk replacer that is left over more than 2 hours.
