Keto-gel
This treatment applies to the following species:Keto-Gel is a high energy gel, packed with vitamins, amino acids and trace minerals. It is used as an aid to help maintain normal blood glucose (sugar) levels during stress periods when ketosis (acetonemia) often develops.
DIRECTIONS:
One tube can be administered twice daily, or one tube can be administered after IV treatment of dextrose.
ADMINISTRATION:
Load cartridge in standard dose gun and remove protective end cap. Place the nozzle near the back of the oral cavity and empty contents, allowing the cow to swallow.

CAUTION: Cow must have swallowing reflex. Nozzle should be placed near the back of the mouth. Extra care should be taken to not puncture the pharyngeal wall. If puncture occurs, you need to cease administration and contact your veterinarian.
