Jencine 3 Indications
Jencine® 3 vaccine is for the vaccination of healthy cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea (BVD) type 1 and type 2 and bovine parainfluenza3 (PI3). Vaccination of dams at least 21 days prior to breeding aids in the prevention of persistently infected calves due to BVD type 1.Administration And Dosage
For use in healthy cattle. Transfer entire contents of diluent vial to vaccine vial, using aseptic technique and sterile syringes and needles. Inject 2 mL intramuscularly or subcutaneously into each animal using aseptic technique. Annual revaccination with a single 2 mL dose is recommended. Calves vaccinated under 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months of age or at weaning.Precaution
This product has been tested under laboratory conditions and shown to meet all Federal standards for safety and efficacy. This level of performance may be affected by conditions of use such as stress, weather, nutrition, disease, parasitism, other treatments, individual idiosyncrasies or impaired immunological competency. These factors should be considered by the user when evaluating product performance or freedom from reactions.Jencine 3 Caution
For veterinary use only. Store at 35°-45°F (2°-7°C). Use entire contents when first opened. Do not use chemical disinfectants to sterilize syringes or needles. Burn container and all unused contents. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Do not vaccinate calves under 2 weeks of age. Do not vaccinate pregnant cows or calves nursing pregnant cows. Contains gentamicin as a preservative.Anaphylactoid reactions may occur following use.
