Iodaphor Prep Udder Wash Indication

An udder wash used as an aid in preventing and controlling mastitis in dairy cattle by reducing the bacterial population on teats and udder.

Active Ingredients

Nonylphenoxypoly(ethylenoxy)ethanol iodine complex - 9% w/w (providing 1.75% w/w titratable iodine), Phosphoric Acid - 5% w/w

Directions

Prepare solution by adding 30 mL of Iodaphor Prep solution to 20 litres of warm water. Prior to each milking, approximately 1 minute before applying teat cups, dip a single service paper towel into the solution and wash udder and teats. Dry the udder and the teats before milking. Avoid contamination of udder wash. When the solution becomes visibly dirty, discard and use fresh solution. Iodaphor Prep is not recommended for cleaning and/or sanitizing milking equipment.

Harmful if swallowed. Eye irritant. Wash hands thoroughly after handling product. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with food.

Consult your veterinarian before using on teats that are irritated.

Storage Conditions

Store between 15°C and 30°C. Avoid freezing. Dispose of product according to municipal guidelines.

First Aid

Eyes - Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Ingestion - Drink large volumes of water or milk. Do not induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately.

Skin - Flush affected area thoroughly with water.
