Inovocox Indications
This vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of healthy chickens as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by three species of coccidia: Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima, and E. tenella. It is recommended for in ovo vaccination of 18- to -19-day-old embryonated chicken eggs using the Embrex Inovoject® system. It is essential that the birds be maintained under good environmental conditions and do not receive feed containing anticoccidial drugs.
Presentation
Inovocox is available in 10 x 2000 or 10 x 8000 dose vials.
Description
Inovocox vaccine contains the live oocysts of Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima (2 strains), and E. tenella. Contains gentamicin and nystatin as preservatives.
Diluent
Store at room temperature.
Inovocox Dosage And Administration in Ovo
1. Dilute The Vaccine Only As Directed While Observing Aseptic Technique And Precautions For Safe Handling.
2. For Each Vial Of Vaccine To Be Administered In Ovo, Vaccine Must Be Diluted According To The Following Chart.

3. Invert Vaccine Vial Gently Until Contents Are Evenly Suspended.
4. Using A Sterile 10 Ml Syringe Fitted With An 18g Or 20g Needle, Withdraw Vial Contents.
5. Slowly Dispense Contents Of The Syringe Into Appropriate Volume Of Diluent.
6. Remove 5 Ml Of Diluent To Rinse The Vial And Transfer To Diluent Bag In Order To Remove All Vaccine Contents From The Vial.
7. Thoroughly Mix The Vaccine And Diluent By Massaging And Inverting. Invert The Vaccine Bag Gently Until The Vaccine Is Evenly Suspended.
8. Use The Vaccine-diluent Mixture Immediately As Described For in Ovo Administration.

Before initiating in ovo vaccination, carefully read and follow the Inovoject operator’s manual. Failure to follow instructions may result in personal injury and embryonic morbidity/mortality. Only healthy embryonated eggs should be vaccinated.
1. Sanitize the Inovoject egg injection system before and after use.
2. Inject a 50µl or 100µl volume containing 1 dose into each embryonated egg.
3. Use the entire contents of the vaccine container within one hour after mixing.
Precautions
- For veterinary use only
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- This vaccine may only be combined with either of the following: Merial Select’s Marek’s Disease Vaccine, Serotypes 2 and 3, Live Virus; or Merial Select’s Bursal Disease Vaccine, Live
Virus, Bursaplex®.
- Use entire vial contents when first opened.
- Burn all containers and unused contents.
- Do not vaccinate diseased embryonated eggs.
- Administer a full dose to each embryonated egg.
- Exposure to disease must be minimized as much as possible.
- Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze.
- Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.

Inovocox has met the requirements of the USDA in regard to safety, purity, potency, and the capability to protect normally susceptible chickens.
The ability of this vaccine to produce satisfactory results may depend on many factors, including but not limited to conditions of storage and handling by the user; administration of the vaccine; health and responsiveness of individual chickens; and the degree of chick exposure to moist litter droppings. Directions for use should be followed carefully. The use of this vaccine is subject to applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
