Veterinary Use Only
Active ingredient: Each mL contains:
Iron (as ferric hydroxide-sucrose complex)
IRON INJECTION FOR HORSES
Hippiron 1000 Indications
As an aid in the treatment of iron deficiency in horses (equine anaemia).
DOSAGE: Weaned foals and yearlings: 5 mL per 100 kg bodyweight. Adult horses: 10 mL per 100 kg bodyweight.
ADMINISTRATION: By slow intravenous injection directly into the jugular vein, using aseptic technique.
DURATION OF TREATMENT: As directed by your veterinarian.
CAUTIONS: If an allergic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine, cortisone or antihistamine immediately, as indicated. If symptoms of iron deficiency persist, consult a veterinarian.
StorageStore at room temperature (15-25°C). Protect from light. Do not refrigerate.
