Hexadene Flush Indications

HEXADENE^® FLUSH is indicated as an aid in the treatment of superficial wounds and skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, ringworm, and yeasts which may be sensitive to the action of chlorhexidine. HEXADENE FLUSH is indicated for dogs and cats.

Active Ingredients

Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.25% w/w.

Directions

Skin may be shaved (if necessary), cleansed, and debrided (in the case of a skin wound) prior to the application of the flush solution. May be used once or twice a day for wound flushing. Continue for 2 to 3 days after apparent resolution of clinical signs.

Contraindications

Dogs and cats which are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation should not be treated with this product.

Warning

Keep out of the reach of children. Wash hands after use.

Hexadene Flush Caution

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If irritation occurs discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. Consult a veterinarian before using on a debilitated animal, or if not possible, refrain from using. If condition does not show improvement after 3 - 4 days, consult your veterinarian.

Storage Instructions

Store at controlled room temperature from 14 to 28 degrees Celsius. Lot number and expiration date on bottom of container.
