Hatchpak Cocci Iii
This treatment applies to the following species:Coccidiosis Vaccine
Live Oocysts
This vaccine contains the oocysts of Eimeria maxima, Eimeria acervulina, and Eimeria tenella and has shown to aid in the prevention of coccidiosis. The product is recommended for the initial vaccination of healthy chickens one-day of age or older by spray.
Hatchpak Cocci III Caution
Do not freeze.
Administer only as recommended.
Use entire contents when first opened.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
Burn this container and all unused contents.
Storage Conditions
Store At 35-45°f (2-7°c). Do Not Freeze.
Hatchpak Cocci III Indications
This vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of healthy chickens as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis. It is essential that the chickens be maintained under good environmental conditions that include moisture for sporulation and free access to fecal droppings.
Exposure to other disease agents should be reduced as much as possible.
Spray Vaccination Using Spray Cabinet
1. Do not open vaccine vial until ready to vaccinate.
2. Reconstitute vaccine at a rate of 21 mls per 100 chickens using non-chlorinated water. Dye may be added to monitor spray vaccination dispersal.
3. Each box of 100 chickens should receive approximately 21 mls of vaccine.
4. Administer a full dose to each chicken.
Precautions
Do not vaccinate diseased chickens.
Vaccinate all chickens on the premises at one time.
Administer a full dose to each chicken.
Avoid stress conditions during and following vaccination.
Do not place chickens in contaminated facilities
Exposure to disease must be minimized as much as possible.
For veterinary use only.
This vaccine is not recommended for use on chicks receiving a feed containing a coccidiostat or high levels of antibiotic.
Following vaccination, it may be necessary to use drugs for treatment of disease conditions other than coccidiosis. If such drugs, with a coccidiostat activity, are used during the first or second week post-vaccination of Merial’s Coccidiosis Vaccine, revaccination is recommended.
