Recommended Uses
Designed as a nutritional supplement for calves at shipping, during fluid loss, when diarrhea is present; off feed due to shipping, handling, disease, or heat stress; to reduce shrink; in conjunction with veterinary therapy for diarrhea or pneumonia; other times that listed nutrients, electrolytes and beneficial microbial cultures are desired.
Application / Feeding Directions
Mix 100 grams Gener-LYTE per 2 quarts warm water until suspended. Feed 1.5 quarts for animals under 90 pounds body weight, 2 quarts for animals up to 250 pounds body weight, twice daily or as a drench or with a stomach tube. For calves being fed milk or replacer, follow 1/2 hour later with milk or milk replacer feeding or feed milk or replacer at alternate times to feeding Gener-LYTE when trying to replace fluid losses in dehydrated calves. Do not mix Gener-LYTE with milk or replacer. Once mixed, use immediately.
