Description

Clostridium Perfringens Types C & D Toxoid. GAUGE™ C&D toxoid is prepared from chemically inactivated cultures of the above organisms.

Gauge C&D Indications

Uses: GAUGE™ C&D is recommended for vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle and sheep as an aid in the reduction of enterotoxemia caused by the toxins of Cl. perfringens types B, C, D.

Gauge C&D Dosage And Administration

Using aseptic technique inject a 2 mL dose. Repeat in 21 to 28 days. A 2 mL booster dose is recommended annually.

Precaution(s)

Store at 35°-45°F (2°-7°C). Avoid freezing. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened.

Gauge C&D Caution(s)

Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.

Antidote(s)

Epinephrine.

Warning(s)

Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.

Animals inoculation only. Accidental injection in humans can cause serious local reactions. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
