Warning

Treated poultry (chickens and turkeys) must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 24 hours after the latest treatment with this drug. Do not use in birds producing eggs for food purposes.

As an aid in the treatment and control of infectious Coryza. As an aid in the management of complex disease syndromes such as synovitis (caused by PPLO or coccal organisms). As an aid in the management of respiratory syndrome outbreaks resulting from the stress of vaccination, debeaking and movement of birds.

Chickens

As an aid in the treatment and control of chronic respiratory disease (due to M. gallisepticum susceptible to erythromycin).

Turkeys

As an aid in the treatment and control of infectious sinusitis (due to M. gallisepticum susceptible to erythromycin). As an aid in the management of complex disease syndromes such as bluecomb.

Dosage

Chickens And Turkeys

Respiratory Diseases And Complex Disease Syndromes (115.6 Mg Active/l Drinking Water)

4 g of powder per 8 L or 100 g (1 pouch) per 200 L of drinking water and mix thoroughly.

For Automatic Proportioner

Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL per 4 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare the stock solution by dissolving 250 g (2-1/2 pouches) in 3.8 L of water. This will medicate 500 L of drinking water.

Stress (57.8 Mg Active/l Drinking Water)

2 g of powder per 8 L or 50 g (1/2 pouch) per 200 L of drinking water and mix thoroughly.

For Automatic Proportioner

Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL per 4 L of drinking water (1 oz/gallon U.S.). Prepare the stock solution by dissolving 125 g (1-1/4 pouch) in 3.8 L of water. This will medicate 500 L of drinking water.

Notes

Prepare fresh solutions daily. Use as the only source of water for 5 days. If birds have not fully responded, continue the medication for 2 more days. Do not use solutions older than 3 days.

Storage Conditions

Store between 15 °C and 25 °C. Protect from moisture.
