A Formalin Inactivated Liquid Emulsion Containing aeromonas Salmonicida Subspecies salmonicida In An Oil Based Adjuvant. No Other Preservative Is Used.

Use

Vaccination Program

This bacterin has been shown to be safe and effective when administered by intraperitoneal injection to salmonids 10 g or larger.

Vaccination should precede exposure of vaccinates to the disease agent by 400 degree-days (number of days multiplied by the mean water temperature (°C) during period). Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter.

Furogen 2 Injection Dosage And Administration

Fish 10 g in size or larger are anaesthetized to immobilize and administered a 0.1 mL injection of the bacterin intraperitoneally one pelvic fin length ahead of the pelvic girdle along the ventral midline. Warming of the vaccine to room temperature (15 - 20°C) may facilitate injection.

Furogen 2 Injection Cautions

1. Product must be shaken well before using.

2. Vaccinate healthy fish only.

3. Store in original container at 2 - 8°C (35 - 46°F).

4. Use entire contents when first opened.

5. If accidental injection of the operator occurs, the operator should discontinue activity and seek medical attention immediately.

6. Protect From Light. do Not Freeze.
