Foalgro On Hand Milk Replacer

Grober Mixing Chart For 1 Litre Foalgro

1. Measure |
125g (1 cup) powder (use scale for accuracy) |
|
2. Mix |
with 0.5 litres hot water (60°C) for 3 minutes using a wire whisk |
|
3. Add |
0.45 litres cold water and mix for 1 minute (total 1 litre) |
|
4. Feed |
the milk solution at a temperature of 38-39°C (use thermometer) |

General Recommendations
- This package will make 10 litres of milk (approx. 2 days supply)
- Nipple fits most standard water bottles (ie. 500mL, 750mL)
- Wash hands before handling and feeding foal
- Foals should be fed up to 10 times a day for the first 2 days. See feeding instruction inside
- Clean ALL feeding utensils and equipment after each feeding. Rinse in lukewarm water, wash with detergent in hot water, rinse with clean water and dry. Once a day soak cleaned equipment in disinfectant for 15 minutes (ideally a 10% bleach solution), rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
