Flysect Super-7 Indications

FLYSECT® Super-7 Repellent Spray for horses and dogs combines oil of aloe with other repellents to moisturize the skin and produce a show condition coat. It contains two insecticide systems and three repellents for use on horses and dogs for the immediate and residual control of face flies, stable flies, house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, mites, chiggers and lice.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of federal law to use the product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

For initial treatment, apply once a day for 2-3 days. As the infestation subsides, repeat the treatment every 5-10 days or as prescribed by a veterinarian. Also, re-apply every time the animal is washed or exposed to a heavy rain. Use only in a well ventilated area. Hold the bottle in an upright position when spraying.

Horses: Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a shampoo. Wait until the coat is completely dry before applying. Cover the entire surface of the animal with the spray, but avoid getting the product into the horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as the mouth or nose. Brush the coat against the grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of the product. As a wipe, apply liberally with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure the spray has completely dried before covering with any tack.

Dogs: Cover the animal's eyes with a hand. With a firm stroke to get a proper spray mist, spray the head, ears and chest until damp. With fingertips, rub into the face around the mouth, nose and eyes. Then spray the neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing with the legs. For the best penetration of the spray to the skin, direct the spray against the natural lay of the hair. On long-haired dogs, rub a hand against the lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure the spray thoroughly wets the ticks. Repeat the treatment as needed.
