Ferrofax Indications

As an aid in the prevention and treatment of anaemia in newborn piglets, due to iron deficiency.

Ferrofax Dosage And Administration

BABY PIGS:

Prevention

1 mL intramuscularly at 1-3 days of age. The dosage may be repeated in 12 days if needed, or if weaning is delayed beyond 4 or 5 weeks and no source of iron fortified creep feed is supplied.

Treatment

2 mL intramuscularly followed by 2 mL one week later or as recommended by your veterinarian.

Ferrofax Caution

If deficiency symptoms persist, consult a veterinarian.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15°-30°C). Protect from freezing.
