It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

DO NOT USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER

Feed the recommended dosage of Farnam^® Equitrol^® II Feed-Thru Fly Control to each horse separately to make certain it receives the full ration. This product should be fed top dressed on grain or mixed with the horse’s total ration to provide 0.00024 oz (6.8 mg) of diflubenzuron per 100 lbs of body weight. For occasional finicky eaters who do not accept new feeds readily, mix this product with sweet feed or grain ration.

Start feeding Farnam^® Equitrol^® II Feed-Thru Fly Control early in spring before stable flies and house flies appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity.

Farnam^® Equitrol^® II Feed-Thru Fly Control contains diflubenzuron, an insect growth regulator, which prevents the development of house flies and stable flies in the manure of treated horses, but is not effective against existing adult flies. This product remains active against fly larvae in aging manure for up to 6 weeks.

In some cases, supplemental stable fly and house fly control measures may be needed in and around paddocks and buildings to control adult house and stable flies which can breed in other decaying vegetable matter or silage on premises, or that migrate in from other areas.

Farnam^® Equitrol^® II Feed-Thru Fly Control should be used as part of an integrated pest management program aimed at reducing stable fly and house fly populations in the horse’s environment. Consult your retailer for program recommendations. In order to achieve optimum stable fly and house fly control, Farnam^® Equitrol^® II Feed-Thru Fly Control should be used in conjunction with other Farnam^® premise and on-animal products as well as good management and sanitation practices.

FEED INGREDIENTS: Wheat Middlings, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Calcium Carbonate, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Propionate (preservative)

For larger horses over 1,300 lbs of body weight, feed an additional 1/5 oz for each additional 200 lbs of body weight.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in original container in a cool, dry (preferably locked) place that is inaccessible to children and pets.

PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Completely empty plastic bucket by shaking and tapping sides and bottom to loosen clinging particles. Then offer for recycling, if available, or dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by other procedures allowed by state and/or local authorities.
