Directions For Use

It Is A Violation Of Federal Law To Use This Product In A Manner Inconsistent With Its Labeling.

Hold container upright with nozzle away from you. Press valve down and spray as directed. To avoid possible staining of fabrics, do not spray at close range.

For Use On Animals: Do Not Spray On Sick Animals. Do Not Spray Directly Towards Animal’s Eyes. Do Not Treat Dogs Or Cats.

Dairy Cattle

Thoroughly spray entire animal from approximately 2 feet distance. Spot treat withers, shoulders and back where saliva accumulates from head tossing. Thoroughly wash teats before milking.

Beef Cattle

Thoroughly spray entire animal from approximately 2 feet distance. Repeat application daily.

Horses And Ponies

Lightly mist over the back of horses and ponies from a distance of 2 feet. Repeat application daily.

Hogs And Swine

Spray directly over the back of hogs for 1-2 seconds per hog. Repeat application daily.

For Use In Milking Parlors, Milk Rooms, Barns, Horse Barns, Stables, Hog Houses, And Poultry Houses To Kill Or Repel The Listed Insects. When Using This Product In An Enclosed Area, Remove Animals Before Spraying. Cover All Feed, And Water Troughs. Close All Windows And Doors. Do Not Remain In The Treated Area. After 15 Minutes, Ventilate Treated Areas. Repeat Application Daily.

Milking Parlors And Milk Rooms: In Milking Parlors And Milk Rooms, Cover All Milking Utensils And Milk To Prevent Contamination From Spray And Dead Or Falling Insects. Apply As A Space Spray Upwards, Spraying For 1-3 Seconds Per 1,000 Cubic Feet Of Space.

beef Cattle Barn And Hog Barns

Spray at a rate of 1-2 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of space.

Stanchion Barn Use

Walk behind animals and direct spray over backs, allowing 1 second per animal.

Poultry Houses

Use only in empty poultry houses (when birds are not present). Apply as a space spray upwards at a rate of 1-2 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet.

To Kill Mud Dauber And Wasps

Apply mist directly on insects and their nests from approximately 2 feet distance. Contacted insects will fly away from the spray. Application should be made in late evening, when insects are at rest. Spray into hiding and breeding places contacting as many insects as possible.

TO KILLS FLEAS IN PET KENNELS AND CATTERIES: Do not use this product to treat Dogs or Cats. Remove animals before spraying. Change litter and pet bedding before treatment. Close all doors and windows. Hold aerosol 36 inches above the floor and direct spray towards the floor and lower walls for 10 seconds per 100 square feet. Make sure that all floor areas are treated. Keep treated area closed for 15 minutes, then open and ventilate and allow surfaces to thoroughly dry before reoccupying. Repeat after 7 days.

To Kill Flies, Gnats, And Mosquitoes Outdoors

Spray while walking the length of the target area at 25 foot intervals while spraying downwind. This container treats up to one acre. Repeat treatment in 7 days.

Outdoor Ground Application

Kills and Repels Flies, Gnats, and Mosquitoes, including the Culex species which may carry the West Nile Virus, in open areas near buildings and in campgrounds. Best results are obtained when wind speed is five (5) MPH or less. Apply at a rate of 60-80 seconds per acre. Spray in wide swaths across area to be treated. Allow spray drift to penetrate dense foliage. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

Hazards To Humans & Domestic Animals

Equine Use Fly-Rid Multi-Purpose Insect Control Aerosol Caution

Harmful if absorbed through skin or inhaled. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Avoid breathing spray mist. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash clothing before reuse.

First Aid

IF SWALLOWED: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have a person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to fish, birds and other wildlife. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Apply this product only as specified on the label.

Physical Or Chemical Hazards

Flammable. Contents under pressure. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F may cause bursting.

Do not spray on plastic, painted or varnished surfaces or directly into electronic equipment such as radios, TVs, computers, etc.
