Swine Influenza Vaccine, H1n1 And H3n2, Killed Virus

For use in healthy swine, 3 weeks of age and older, as an aid in the prevention of influenza caused by serotype A swine influenza (subtypes H1N1, H1N2, and H3N2). This product has been demonstrated to reduce clinical signs, lung lesions and virus shedding following challenge. This product contains an inactivated US midwest field isolate of subtype H3N2 and an inactivated subtype H1N1 of swine influenza type A virus in Microsol Diluvac Forte^® adjuvant. Following vaccination, Duration of Immunity has been demonstrated to be at least 10 weeks for H3N2, at least 8 weeks for H1N2, and at least 11 weeks for H1N1. Animals retained for breeding should be given a booster dose semi-annually.

Dosage And Directions

Shake well, aseptically inject intramuscularly (IM). Administer a 2 mL dose at 3 weeks of age or older, followed by one 2 mL dose 3 weeks later. Pigs from SIV seropositive dams should be vaccinated after passive maternal antibody levels have declined to allow active immunization.

End-FLUence 2 Caution

Store in the dark at not over 7°C (45°F). Do not freeze. Do not save partial contents. Burn the container and all unused product. Use in healthy swine. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before/prior to slaughter. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Contains thimerosal and gentamicin as preservatives.
