GENERAL INFORMATION: Used as directed, Eliminator® Ear Tags will provide season-long control of HORN FLIES and will reduce populations of FACE FLIES. Significant gains in weight and milk yield can be achieved with Eliminator®. Adequate control of FACE FLIES may reduce pink eye infections. This tag contains active ingredients from two different insecticide families and is designed to control the HORN FLIES that may already be resistant to one insecticide family.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: The effectiveness of Eliminator® Ear Tags on pyrethroid resistant horn fly populations may decrease after a short time of use. The use of this product should conform to current resistance management strategies. For the latest information on horn fly populations and their control strategies in your area, please consult with local Provincial authorities or your Vétoquinol representative.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: a) Wear chemical-resistant gloves during product use. b) For maximum benefit, apply early each spring before flies emerge. Delaying applications until fly populations have built up may result in some loss of control. c) The entire herd must be tagged to control flies as claimed. d) Rate to use: HORN FLIES: tag 1 ear FACE FLIES: tag both ears. e) Remove tags at the end of the season and before slaughter. f) Dip pliers with stud into a disinfectant before tagging of each animal.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Eliminator® Ear Tags can be conveniently applied with the ALLFLEX TAGGING SYSTEM™. Assemble unit and position tag on the firm flat surface in the centre of the ear between the ribs. Make sure the shaft of the male tag does not penetrate a rib or blood vessel.
