Sodium Acetate	222 mg
Sodium Gluconate	502 mg
Potassium Chloride	37 mg
Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate	30 mg
Water for Injection	q.s.

May contain hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment.

Electrolytes per 1000 mL (not including ions for pH adjustment): Sodium 140 mEq; Potassium 5 mEq; Magnesium 3 mEq; Chloride 98 mEq; Acetate 27 mEq; Gluconate 23 mEq.

ElectroSol-R Indications

ElectroSol-R is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of balanced electrolytes indicated for replacing acute losses of extracellular fluid and electrolytes, and for correcting moderate to severe acidosis.

ElectroSol-R Dosage And Administration

Contents or lesser amount as determined by veterinarian as a single dose; usually 3-10% of body weight. In shock, up to 10% of body weight in 1-2 hours. For intravenous or subcutaneous use. Solution should be warmed to body temperature and administered slowly.

ElectroSol-R Caution

Do not use this product if seal is broken or solution is not clear. Contains no preservative. If entire contents are not used, discard unused portion. Additives may be incompatible. When introducing additives, use aseptic technique, mix thoroughly and do not store.
