Natural Vitamin A (carotenes) and tocopherol can be destroyed in feedstuffs through processing, ensiling, and storage. Due to these losses, reduced intake of fat-soluble vitamins can occur in animals maintained in continual confinement or animals not allowed to graze lush pasture. Intramuscular injections of E-Master is an efficient and rapid method to increase vitamins A, D, and E.

Some deficiency symptoms may not be corrected by using vitamin E because they do not respond to vitamin E alone, but rather to a combination of vitamin E and selenium. Since marginal deficiencies in vitamin E are difficult to diagnose, a veterinarian should be consulted before administration for treatment purposes.

E-Master Caution

Do not exceed recommended dosage. Occasionally, reactions of an allergic or anaphylactic nature may occur. In such case, treat immediately with injection of epinephrine or antihistamine. Administration of the product to well nourished animals may cause hypervitaminosis D which may result in hypercalcemia.

If deficiency symptoms persist after treatment, consult your veterinarian for a reassessment of diagnosis and/or treatment. This product should be used in conjunction with a ration balanced for the animal's nutritional needs.
