Suggested Use
To introduce your cat or dog to the toothpaste, squeeze a small amount onto your finger and allow your pet to taste.Apply a small amount of paste onto the toothbrush or fingerbrush.
Gently pull your pet’s lips and cheeks up. In a slow circular motion, brush one or two teeth and the adjoining gum line to get your pet accustomed to the feel of the brush. Give a lot of praise during this process.
Gradually increase the number of teeth brushed, eventually working towards the rear teeth where plaque and tartar have a greater tendency to accumulate. Go slowly and gently. Stop brushing before your pet begins to fuss.
Build up to about 30 seconds per side. Cats and dogs don’t get much tartar build up on the inside surfaces of their teeth, so only brush the outside surfaces. Avoid human toothpaste on your pet.
