Description
Iodine 1.0% from Polyethoxy polypropoxy polyethoxy ethanol - iodine complex 3.3% w/w providing 10,000 ppm titratable iodine in solution, Free iodine 8-14 ppm, Glycerin 10.0% w/w
Della-One Teat Dip Indications
As an aid in controlling mastitis of dairy cattle.
Della-One Teat Dip Dosage And Administration
Use at full strength. Do not dilute. Product ready to use. Use a teat dip cup to apply the product.
Post Milking Teat Dipping
Immediately after milking, dip each teat with undiluted Della-One™. When a cow is being dried off, the teats should be dipped in Della-One™ once a day for 3-4 days after the last milking. Dipping should be resumed at least twice daily one week before calving.
Pre-milking Sanitation
All teats should be washed or dipped with an approved sanitizing solution and thoroughly dried with a single service paper towel before every milking.
Note
The dip cup solution should be changed if it becomes visibly dirty or if sediment is introduced, or if brown colour fades very noticeably.Della-One Teat Dip Cautions
If outside temperature is below freezing, allow to air dry on the teat before cow leaves the parlor. If cow’s teats are sore or chapped, consult a veterinarian before starting or continuing to use Della-One™.
Warnings
Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes. If accidental contact occurs, flush eyes thoroughly with running water for 15 minutes and obtain medical attention. If ingested, drink large volumes of water. Do not induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately.
Storage
Avoid freezing of product. Do not store at temperatures exceeding 25°C.
