Active Ingredient

Cattle
Deccox 6% Premix Indications
As an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in non-ruminating and ruminating calves and cattle.
Use Level
The recommended use level is 0.5 mg of decoquinate per kg of body weight (25 grams of decoquinate per metric tonne of feed), to be administered daily.
Mixing Directions
Use 417 grams of Deccox 6% Premix per metric tonne of complete cattle feed. Ensure thorough dispersion of Deccox 6% Premix throughout the feed.
For inclusion in a supplement which is to be fed at a rate of 500 grams per head per day, use Deccox 6% Premix as shown below. To calculate the inclusion rate for Deccox 6% Premix for other weights of cattle or other feeding rates of supplement, use the ratios in the following table.

When fed at a rate of 500 grams per head per day, the above medicated supplement will deliver 0.5 mg/kg of body weight/day to the treated animal.
Feeding Directions
Feed for at least 28 days when coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.
Deccox 6% Premix Caution
Do not use this drug for the treatment of outbreaks of coccidiosis.
Broiler Chickens
Deccox 6% Premix Indications
As an aid in the prevention of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima and E. mitis in broiler chickens.
Use Level
The recommended use level is 0.003% (30 grams of decoquinate per metric tonne of feed).
Mixing Directions
Use 500 grams of Deccox 6% Premix per metric tonne of complete broiler feed. Ensure thorough dispersion of Deccox 6% Premix throughout the feed.
Feeding Directions
Feed medicated Starter, Grower and Finisher feeds as sole ration from day-old to slaughter.
Deccox 6% Premix Caution
1. Do not use this drug for the treatment of outbreaks of coccidiosis.
2. Consult a veterinarian or poultry pathologist if mortality exceeds 0.5% in a 2 day period.
Warning
This product must not be used in laying birds in production. This product must not be used in lactating dairy cows.
