Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Each mL contains:

Dexpanthenol

250 mg

Benzyl Alcohol

1% w/v

Water For Injection

q.s.

d-Panthenol Injection Indications

For use as a nutritional source of d-panthenol.

d-Panthenol Injection Dosage And Administration:

Dogs and Cats: 25 mg. per 5 lbs. body weight intramuscularly.

Horses: Initial dose 10 cc intravenously or intramuscularly.

PRECAUTION: Following the administration of succinylcholine chloride, a one-hour waiting period is advisable before initiation of dexpanthenol therapy.

Contraindications

In therapy of colic resulting from administration of cholinergic type anthelmintics.
