Cyanocobalamin 5000 mcg Caution

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Each mL contains:

Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12)

5000 mcg

Benzyl Alcohol (as preservative)

1.5% v/v

Sodium Chloride

0.8% w/v

Water for injection

q.s.

pH buffered with Acetic Acid

Dosage and Administration

Inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly. May be injected intravenously at the discretion of the veterinarian.

Cattle and Horses

0.2 to 0.4 mL

Swine and Sheep

0.1

Suggested dosage may be repeated at 1-2 week intervals, as indicated by condition and response.

Cyanocobalamin 5000 mcg Indications

For use in managing vitamin B deficiencies associated with cobalt deficiency inadequate intake, or intestinal malabsorption in cattle, sheep, swine, and horses.

Store at controlled temperature between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). Avoid exposure to light.
