Sentinel is a very active compound, which is used at low rates. It also has a low level mammalian toxicity. Sentinel provides fast knockdown and residual control of houseflies and stable flies in beef and dairy barns, hog barns and poultry houses.

Directions For Use

Conventional Or Pressure Sprayers

Apply Sentinel at the rate of 100mL of product per 100 square meters (1 bottle treats 500 square meters) in sufficient water to obtain thorough coverage. The amount of water required will vary depending on the type of surface to be treated.

Steps to Take When Applying Sentinel

1. Measure the area of the surfaces to be treated including walls, ceilings, beams and the outside of feed bunks, etc.

2. Apply one tankful of water only, spraying to the point of run-off to determine the area sprayed per tank.

3. Add the required amount of Sentinel to the tank to apply at the above rate. For example if one tankful covers 70 square meters, add 70mL of Sentinel to the tank.

4. Spray all inside surfaces of the barn including calf pens, etc. Do not spray only selected areas, such as around windows.

Note

The spray should be directed to walls, ceilings, stalls, stanchions, etc. Good sanitation is essential for good fly control, including elimination of fly breeding sites.
