Co-op Poly-Tonine A Super Booster No. 1 Indications
Chickens And Turkeys
As an aid in starting chicks and poults by stimulating feed intake and growth, promotes health and vigor and helps overcome the effects of stress. Stimulate feed intake and maintain weight gains when birds are expected to be exposed to mild attacks of C.R.D. and infectious sinusitis or transmissible enteritis in turkeys.
Swine And Calves
As an aid in the treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours).
Dosage
Chickens And Turkeys (starting Chicks And Poults)
Dissolve 100 g of powder in 200 L and give for 4 days.
Chickens And Turkeys (c.r.d., Infectious Sinusitis And Transmissible Enteritis)
Dissolve 100 g of powder in 180 L of drinking water and give for 4 or 5 days, at the first sign of outbreak.
Swine
Dissolve 300 g of powder in 250 L of drinking water and give for 4 or 5 days.
For Automatic Proportioner
Set the apparatus to distribute 30 mL stock solution per 3.78 L of drinking water (1 oz./gallon U.S.). Prepare the stock solution by dissolving 400 g of powder in 2.6 L of water. This will medicate 330 L of drinking water.Calves (scours)
Administer 4 g of powder per 45 kg of body weight; mix with water or milk and give every 12 hours for 2 or 3 days.
Notes
These solutions are not stable for more than 24 hours. Make fresh solutions daily. Give no other drinking water during the treatment. Provide ample watering places. Proper sanitary measures should prevail. If no improvement is noted after 5 days, the diagnosis should be re-determined. 1 teaspoonful equals 4 g.
