Note
For cattle, the amounts of vitamins A and D contained in this premix will supply approximately 50% of the daily requirements. The remaining 50% of vitamins must be supplied by other feed ingredients.
Medicated with AUREOMYCIN chlortetracycline hydrochloride (equiv.) at 4.4 g/kg as an aid in the following conditions of cattle, sheep and swine.
Cattle
Prevention of foot rot.Calves
Prevention of bacterial diarrhea.Sheep
Reduction of losses due to enterotoxaemia in feed-lot lambs.Swine
1. Prevention of bacterial enteritis (scours).
2. Treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours).
Note
Pigs off feed should be given individual treatment.3. Maintaining weight gains in the presence of atrophic rhinitis. (The medicated feed has no effect on the organism causing atrophic rhinitis).
4. Maintaining weight gains and stimulating appetite during periods of stress caused by moving, vaccination, temperature change and castration.
Warning
1. Treated cattle and calves must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 5 days after the last treatment with this drug.
2. Treated lambs must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 4 days after the last treatment with this drug.
3. Treated swine must not be slaughtered for use in food for at least 7 days after the last treatment with this drug.
4. Do not administer to lactating dairy cattle.

Cattle on full feed may occasionally show digestive disturbances following the sudden introduction of the full dosage of the premix. In such cattle, it is recommended that one-quarter of the dose be fed for 7 days, then gradually increase the dose during the next 7 days up to 16 g of Co-Op Aureomycin Vitamin Premix Crumbles per head per day.
