Contents: A suspension of inactivated cultures of Campylobacter fetus subsp. fetus in a mineral oil adjuvant.
Contains thimerosal as a preservative.
Campylobacter Fetus Bacterin-Bovine Indications
For vaccinating healthy female cattle to aid in the control of bovine genital campylobacteriosis (vibriosis) caused by the subspecies named above.
Dosage and AdministrationInject 2 mL subcutaneously in top part of neck, 6" from ear.
Shake well to completely resuspend the organisms. Administer 30 to 60 days prior to exposure or addition to breeding herd. Revaccinate annually.
Precaution(s): Store in dark at 2° to 7°C, but remove from refrigeration and hold at room temperature 10-12 hours before use. Do not freeze.
Use entire contents when bottle is first opened.
Caution(s): Anaphylactoid reaction sometimes follows administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenaline or equivalent.
Warning(s): Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter.
For veterinary use only.
Presentation: 10 dose (20 mL) and 50 dose (100 mL) vials.
